      <![CDATA[ <p>I hate to be cliche, but that darn word will come back to bite you in the rear every time. I&#8217;ll never text message, never another freakin&#8217; cat, never run out of gas, never get an ipod, never forget to put deodorant on...again. I&#8217;ve said at one time I&#8217;ll never get married, and then later that I&#8217;ll never get divorced. I repeat every weekend that I&#8217;ll never get that drunk again, and almost daily say I won&#8217;t never again eat that much.&nbsp; Where am I going with all this?&nbsp; I also said years ago that I would never do a blog either.

      <![CDATA[ <p>Last weekend I noticed that some local websites had been hacked. I had a good chuckle and moved on.&nbsp; Last Monday one of those hacked websites was reported on in the local paper and without going into the details, you can read the <a href="http://www.stategazette.com/story/1312172.html" title="Dyersburg Gazette-Dyer County Historical Society Web site defaced">article and comments</a> yourself, I thought it would be fun to quickly explain how to locate a web site&#8217;s physical location.&nbsp;

      <![CDATA[ <p>I just touched up the site recently, including an overhaul of the xhtml and css to make it work in all browsers.&nbsp; I hadn&#8217;t done this in a while, so during my quest I found <a href="http://browsershots.org/" title="browsershots">Browsershots</a> and <a href="http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE" title="MultipleIEs">MultipleIEs</a>. These two won&#8217;t necessarily aid with the coding, but they&#8217;ll help immensely during the testing.&nbsp;

      <![CDATA[ <p>Having been working with <a href="http://codeigniter.com" title="CodeIgniter">CodeIgniter</a> for about two years now,  I have always struggled with how to structure my themes.&nbsp; This past week I came up with what seems to be such an obvious solution for external css handling in CodeIgniter, that I was surprised I haven&#8217;t read about it elsewhere.&nbsp; Perhaps it&#8217;s so obvious that most felt it need not to be mentioned, however I would have loved to come across something like this long ago.&nbsp;

      <![CDATA[ <p>To make a long story short, I caught this article &#8217;<a href="http://www.derekallard.com/blog/post/are-you-a-codeigniter-using-wordpress/" title="Are you a CodeIgniter using Wordpress?">Are you a CodeIgniter using Wordpress?</a>&#8216; over at <a href="http://www.derekallard.com/" title="Derek Allard's">Derek Allard&#8217;s</a> website and was finally inspired to go dig deeper at <a href="http://www.expressionengine.com/" title="Expression Engine">Expression Engine</a>.&nbsp; Despite never having used Wordpress, what I found out in the end was that if you need a blog system for a personal site, complete with all the blogging extras, and your a <a href="http://www.codeigniter.com/" title="CodeIgniter">CodeIgniter</a> junkie who wants to stay in the family, Expression Engine is the way to go. As I learned later, it can do way more than just blogs too.
